How do I create an account?
Once Galaxy Fishing launches on the App Store, open the app and tap "Sign Up." You'll need an email address and password. After that, complete your fishing profile to get personalized recommendations.
Is Galaxy Fishing free?
Yes! Galaxy Fishing offers a free tier with basic fishing spots, current weather, and limited catch logging. Upgrade to Pro or Premium for advanced features like marine navigation, 14-day forecasts, and AI species identification.
How accurate is the fishing forecast?
Our fishing forecast combines real-time weather data, barometric pressure, solunar tables, tide predictions, and historical catch data to calculate a daily fishing score. While no forecast is perfect, our users report significantly improved catch rates when fishing during high-score periods.
How does marine navigation work?
Our marine navigation uses NOAA bathymetry data to show water depth, navigation channels, and hazard warnings. Routes automatically snap to safe channels to help you avoid shallow areas and obstacles. Available with Pro and Premium plans.
Can I use the app offline?
Basic app features require an internet connection. Premium subscribers can download offline maps for use in areas with limited cell service. Your catch logs will sync when you're back online.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Go to Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Galaxy Fishing → Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
Which devices are supported?
Galaxy Fishing is available for iPhone and iPad running iOS 17.0 or later. An Android version is planned for a future release.
How do I report a bug?
Use the contact form on this page or email us at support@galaxyfishing.com with a description of the issue, your device model, and iOS version. Screenshots are always helpful!
